A few weeks ago Mum suggested that we go on a 2 week trip to New York.
Hmmm.... letmethinkaboutthatHELLYEAH!
For those who don't know me that well I have a bit of a travel bug and I have two particular cities that I love - London and New York. I have been fortunately enough to go to London a number of times now including one trip where the sole purpose was to see 7 shows in 6 days on the West End and I did (The Producers, Billy Elliott, Mamma Mia, Blood Brothers, Hay Fever (Dame Judi Dench), One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, We Will Rock You).
I've been to New York once and I loved it. I don't know if it is the 'idea' of New York that calls to me or simply Broadway.
So anyway, Mum has now given me the opportunity to spend 2 weeks experiencing New York. Although we will be doing some of the touristy things, most of the time will be spent just simply BEING in New York.
Thanks to the great apartment we have secured in the West Village, we will have access to the internet and so I will be using this blog to post about our adventures and misadventures. You are welcome to join us on this trip of wonder :).
